WHAT TO EXPECT FROM IMPOSSIBLE FILM

Impossible film has greatly improved over the years, however the end results can still be variable. Due to the light sensitivity in development it is not as easy to shoot as the original Polaroid film was.

Depending on your camera, light and temperature conditions, you may need to experiment a bit to get the best results. If you are not happy with your first shot, then please contact us as we shoot a lot of the film and it is very likely we will be able to give you further tips, to improve your results.

Impossible project film is light and temperature sensitive. It can show variances in colour balance, saturation and contrast. Please be aware that occasionally brown undeveloped patches or distortion around the edge of the frames may occur on your images with this film.

• Use a tripod or hold the camera very steady, especially in low light.
• Colour film - Adjust the light/dark wheel towards the dark setting. Impossible suggest 1/3 towards dark, but a little experimentation may be in order depending on conditions.
• Black & White film - Set the dark/light wheel slightly towards the white setting, but a little experimentation may be in order depending on conditions.
• All Impossible film is sensitive to light, for best results shade from light when the image is ejected and whilst developing.
• Shoot at temperatures between 13-28° C
